“Although I make landscapes, there are always traces of people”
A natural balance between functionality and art. This is the golden rule of our landscapes. By focusing on how people interact with their environment, we create an ensemble that engages the senses through textures, colors, light, form and space, resulting in an outdoor experience that is enjoyable, beautiful and comfortable.
Inspired by the belief that any space can be transformed into a healthy living environment, LandWorks strives to reconnect people with nature to the places they live, work and play.
We see each project as unique and we apply a research based approach to our work with an thoughtful synthesis of clients needs and desire, design context and ultimately—future user experiences of the spaces we create.
At LandWorks, design is about technical competence that is innovative in nature, but practical in application. Our experience and skills allow us to design and deliver projects that provide aesthetically pleasing environments for people to enjoy, while ensuring that changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable.
We think that the designed environment is not a series of discrete experiences. We value our relationships with allied professionals and we partner with leading architects, engineers and artists to provide linked systems that support one another and creates a place in its entirety.
Structured as three distinct phases — Discovery, Development and Delivery — our process is reflection of our skillsets and enables our creativity and sophisticated design perspectives to make the delivered project a success.
